Puberty Prep for Parents of Girls

If you are the parent of a tween girl* then you don’t want to miss Puberty Prep for Parents of Girls!

Even if you aren’t the same gender, you can be their go-to puberty person.

You have to talk to them about what’s happening to their bodies and brains during puberty (and why they can feel so bananas)!

You'll come away with the confidence to talk with them like a pro!

What’s covered:

  • What will happen to their bodies and brains

  • How to navigate challenging behaviors and big feelings

  • How to show them they can trust you

  • How to talk about:
    • Handling periods

    • Masturbation

    • Taking care of their body

    • Porn (just a tiny bit about this)

Deep SEA Dive: How to tell your story effectively online

Pepper Lane Creative, led by Liz Fleming and Ellen Goldhammer, is a multimedia microagency specializing in brand storytelling through various digital platforms and in-person activations. Liz and Ellen are passionate about bringing intentionality and authenticity to their work, and they don't shy away from addressing "edgy" topics like sexual education and abortion rights in the digital landscape. They believe these topics are important and deserve to be presented thoughtfully to their desired audience.

Their presentation to the Sex Education Alliance in August will focus on how Pepper Lane helps organizations tell their stories effectively online. They will share best practices for nonprofits and organizations to amplify their voices and create meaningful connections with their audience through social media, websites, digital ads, and more. Their commitment to their clients' missions is evident in the work they do, and they are excited to share their insights with the Sex Education Alliance.
