Workbook for children ages 3-10
The sexual, physical, mental, and spiritual safety of our children should be a top priority for everyone. The goal is to provide activities and discussions that will help increase abuse resistance.
Adults (parents, caregivers, grandparents, counsellors, child & youth care workers, foster parents, nurses, sexual abuse prevention workers, primary teachers and early childhood educators) are encouraged to use this workbook directly with a little person. This book was not written for children to navigate alone.
For: Youth in Grades 6+ (Ages 11+), youths & adults with special needs.
Entering the teen years and then adulthood can be a scary time, but with accurate and up-to-date information, you can learn to embrace and be excited about the changes that are going to happen to your body, mind, spirit and relationships!
This book can be used from Grade 6 through adulthood. Initially this book was intended to support youth and adults with special needs. Upon completion, it was evident this book could be used for neurotypical people as well.
Depending on the ability level of the youth/adult, this workbook could be completed alone or with the support of a teacher/educational assistant/parent/social worker/behaviour interventionist.
For: Children in Grades 3-7 (Ages 7-12)
When parents and caregivers talk openly and honestly about sexuality, children will have the comfort, knowledge and support they need to achieve healthy sexual lives.
Puberty can be a scary and challenging time. As a parent/guardian, you have the unique opportunity to make puberty an exciting right of passage for your child/children.
With fun, meaningful and hands-on activities, our children can learn to be open and confident with these sensitive topics.
This workbook is entertaining, engaging and informative. Be prepared to laugh!
For: children in Grade 4+ (Ages 8+)
In our digital age, it is common for children to be exposed to pornography at home, school or at a friend’s house, whether it was intentional or unintentional. Ideally, schools and families would filter out inappropriate sexual images so that they are not viewed by children. The biggest problem with our kids seeing pornography isn’t that it’s about sex, but that it’s about unrealistic sex.
Books can support parents, caregivers and teachers to have important discussions with our young people. This book is intended for children ages 8 & up.
