Giving The Talk Julia Feldman (she/hers/they) I am a teacher who supports people of all ages with the compassionate, empowering, and scientifically accurate sex education we all deserve. I am passionate about creating educational experiences that center the needs of my students and encourage them to move through the world informed, confident, equipped to care for themselves and others, and free of shame. I provide coaching, support, and curricular design for teachers and schools, as well as direct instruction for parents and students (both in the classroom and less formal settings) Parent-only, parent-child, youth-centered, teacher-centered
Purpose
I am a teacher who supports people of all ages with the compassionate, empowering, and scientifically accurate sex education we all deserve. I am passionate about creating educational experiences that center the needs of my students and encourage them to move through the world informed, confident, equipped to care for themselves and others, and free of shame. With 14+ years of experience in formal education, I have served as a classroom teacher, administrator, content area specialist, curriculum designer and professional development expert. I hold a B.A. in Sociology & International Development, an M.A. in Education, and teaching credentials in English Language Arts, Health Sciences and Educational Administrative Services.
Expertise
I have a passion and a lot of experience in sex ed curriculum design and development. I have extensive experience working with schools, district, and larger educational organizations. I am an avid researcher and writer.
