Purpose

I have been a sexual health educator since 2017 and certified through Options for Sexual Health since 2020. I started my business Mosaic Sexual Health Education in 2017 to address the dearth of sex ed in my region's schools (despite sex ed being mandated through a pretty decent curriculum, it was NOT being taught). The Mosaic Sexual Health Education mission is to provide schools, parents, teachers, professionals, and community organizations with high-quality, comprehensive, body-positive, and inclusive sexual health education that is engaging and fun! Pre-pandemic, I focused on Kamloops and the surrounding regions but I have been working to expand my online offerings during the pandemic.

Expertise

I'd be happy to discuss the pros and cons of working in smaller, remote (and very conservative) regions, building an explicitly 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive business in those kinds of areas, & navigating the BC (Canadian) school system hierachy.
